Costa Rica

A few photos from the amazing programs that are ongoing in San Jose, Costa Rica under the direction of the wonder twins, Melania and Eugenia Gamboa. We received the ProArtes Grant from the Ministry of Culture with the help of Maria Laura Pardo and Danceworks which will allow us to run the programs at IAFA for the next year. The National Dance Company has also been instrumental in pioneering our programs. Roxana Coto and Miriam Lobo, dancers with the NDC directed by Mimi Gonzalez, have undergone the Promethean Spark Methodology training and are keeping the classes at the Alcoholism and Drug Rehabilitation Center for the Youth ongoing. Miguel Bolanos has been a big help over the past months as well. The culmination of all the hard work came on August 6th at the Teatro de la Danza for a grand performance on stage with government officials and family and friends of the youth from the center in the audience. These are the pioneers of Promethean Spark in Costa Rica. The first teachers the first collaborators and of course, the first graduates from Promethean Spark - Danza para la Vida in Costa Rica.
